Like cooking without flavor is not tasty, as well as with the blog, without comment your blog will be flat. Comments from visitors is an important thing in your blog. Comments from visitors can be useful inputs for the improvement of your blog and also can promote your blog.

Step by step to Comments Settings Weblog using Blogger.com :

  1. visit http://www.blogger.com, will appear as the picture below:

  2. In the line "Username (Email)", type your email

  3. In the line "Password", type your password
will appear as the picture below:

  4. Click “Settings” on dashboard then click tab "Comments", some items will appear as follows:

    • Comments - If you select "Show", Comments from visitors will be displayed in your weblog, If you select "Hide", the the comments will not be displayed but not missing, it only hides them from view. Changing this back to 'Show' will display all comments and allow others to comment once again.

    • Who Can Comment? - To determine the status of visitors allowed to comments.
There are four options to choose, as follows
      • Anyone - includes Anonymous Users - all visitors allows to give comment on your article (recommended).
      • Registered Users - only visitors have a Google/Blogger account, or an OpenID account to give comment on your article.
      • Users with Google Accounts - the same setting as Registered Users, but without the OpenID option.
      • Only members of this blog - visitor who became the member to be able to comment.
    • Comment Form Placement - to arrange the display comment form that will be filled with the visitor. I recommended "pop-up-window".

    • Comment Default for Posts - this setting allows you to appoint if your new article allow comments by default or not. If most or all of your new article will not allow comments, save yourself a little time and change this value so your new article don't allow comments by default

    • Backlinks - if you select "Show", it's means you will know if another visitor have been linked to your post.

    • Backlinks Default for Posts - the same as the Comment Default for Posts except that it modifies the default for the Backlinks setting. I recommended select "New Posts Have Backlinks".

    • Comments Timestamp Format -
to arrange the format of the time when visitors to give comment on your article.

    • Comment Form Message - to put your message under the comment form at the visitor will fill out comment.

    • Comment Moderation - a feature offered that allows you to prevent comments from appearing on your site without your express approval.

    • Show word verification for comments? - if you select "Yes", this is a security feature that requires the comment poster to type a specific word that shows up as slightly distorted text in a window..

    • Show profile images on comments? - if you select "Yes", when another blogger user to give comment, their profile photo will be displayed alongside the comment. If you select "No", their profile photo will not be displayed.

    • Comment Notification Email - to be notified by Blogger when a visitor to give comment on your article. You can enter up to 10 email addresses, and when someone give a comment, each address will get an email informing them of the new comment.
